ArborNote → Acumatica
Your integration reads proposal details from the ArborNote API and creates a matching Project Quote in Acumatica, which assigns it a PQ number such as PQ004823.
Tax Calculation
In Acumatica
Acumatica calculates tax on the Project Quote using the same steps as ArborNote’s Apply Sales Tax workflow: subtotal, then tax rate, then sales tax.
Tax Sync
Acumatica → ArborNote
Your integration writes Acumatica’s tax rate and sales tax amount back to the ArborNote proposal through the API, so both systems show the same totals.
Built by Your ERP Vendor
The Acumatica side of the connection is built by your software vendor, using the ArborNote API to read proposals and write tax values back.
Existing PDFs Keep Their Values
Tax updates made through the API don’t change a proposal PDF that was already generated. It shows the values from when it was created and can be regenerated by hand.
Not Included
Acumatica Project Quote numbers aren’t written back to ArborNote, and proposal PDFs aren’t regenerated automatically.
